Voice Meditation and Mantras – Martin Robbins
This will be a short interactive introduction in the use of your own voice as a focus for a meditation practice.
A brief talk about Mantras, what they are, what they can do will be followed by a demonstration and then practice of the chakra sounds which in a group can create an amazing resonance. Following a short mantra meditation, this practice is called Japa Yoga, we will finish the session with a mantra in the form of a song or chant accompanied by the harmonium.
The use of our voice in this work isn’t about having a beautiful singing voice, it’s about using your voice to express your heart and spirit to deepen your connection with your Self.
