The word chakra itself means wheel, and in the practice of yoga, it refers to a wheel of energy. There are 7 chakras in the human body, which start at the base of the body and move up to the crown of the head. Chakra Yoga helps you understand your body’s energy centres and generates a sense of alignment in your physical, emotional and mental bodies. The class is complemented by a guided meditation to aid relaxation and energy balancing.
